The Preuss UCSD Tritons had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 27-22 win over Liberty Charter on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Preuss UCSD also won the last time the pair played on January 11th.
Liberty Charter lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kylie Pruett, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kady McHenry, who scored six points.
Preuss UCSD's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Liberty Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Preuss UCSD will square off against the Griffins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Liberty Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against the Sharks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
