Orestimba is 9-1 against the Bulldogs since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Orestimba Warriors are on the road again and plays the Le Grand Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Orestimba focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday.
Orestimba put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season. They breezed by Delhi on the road to the tune of 57-2. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 25-2.
Kelsey Maninha had a dynamite game for Orestimba, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Maninha has scored all season. Ashlynn Bell was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, everything went Le Grand's way against the Hawks on Wednesday as the Bulldogs made off with a 32-8 win.
Orestimba is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Le Grand, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
Everything came up roses for Orestimba against the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 48-15 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Orestimba since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
