Makayla Brown turned in nothing short of a gem on Wednesday, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with five or more strikeouts. This year, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 4.75 over 46.2 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.576/0.632/0.909 with 14 runs.
