The Frontier Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Redwood Rangers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Frontier is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.
Frontier is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Stockdale: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Frontier blew Stockdale out of the water with a 65-23 final score. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Frontier's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rizelle Copeland, who posted 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Copeland's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Tinnin, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Frontier smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Redwood suffered their biggest loss since February 14, 2024 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 73-33 loss at the hands of Monache. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Marauders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Frontier will need focus on slowing down Jordan Powell, one of several Redwood players who made an impact when they last played. She had eight points. Powell is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Jazmaine Stewart was another key player, putting up eight points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.
Frontier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Redwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Frontier has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Redwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Frontier was able to grind out a solid victory over Redwood in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, winning 49-37. Will Frontier repeat their success, or does Redwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
