Video: Top 2018 uncommitted players
Zack Poff looks at the uncommitted football players from the 247Sports list of Top 100 recruits.
Just because the new early signing period revealed college plans for most of the nation's top players, there is still plenty of intrigue on the recruiting front.
The first day of the regular signing period is Feb. 7.
Here are the top 10 recruits who have yet to commit and where the 247Sports experts expect them to wind up.
No. 6 overall prospect – CB Patrick Surtain II, American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.)The 6-foot-2, 200-pound son of a NFL defensive back by the same name has 32 offers, but LSU gets 92 percent of the experts' nods, followed by Florida State and Alabama, both at 4 percent.
No. 7 – OT Nicholas Petit-Frere, Berkeley Prep (Tampa, Fla.)The 6-6, 272-pounder has 29 offers but figures to pick between Florida, Alabama or Notre Dame.
No. 12 – CB Tyson Campbell, American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.)The long and lean 6-3, 180-pounder has 22 offers, but figure to sign at either Georgia or Miami. Alabama is also a consideration.
No. 28 – CB Olaijah Griffin, Mission Viejo (Calif.)The 6-foot, 170-pounder is the last five-star recruit on this list. He's likely to stay near home and pick USC or UCLA, though Tennessee is a strong draw.
No. 32 – CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart, Helix (La Mesa, Calif.)The 6-2, 187-pounder can play multiple positions. He's got a crazy amount of offers — 51 — and though local team USC appears the favorite, don't be surprised if Alabama or Texas A&M lands Taylor-Stuart.
No. 39 – WR Jaylen Waddle, Episcopal (Bellaire, Texas)The 5-10, 175-pounder is often wide open on the field and he certainly is on his recruitment. Texas A&M and Alabama are likely his two main choices, but Texas is another strong contender.
No. 40 – WR Devon Williams, Antelope Valley (Lancaster, Calif.)The 6-4, 200-pounder is a big target. Look for either Oregon (79 percent) or USC (21) to land the big, physical receiver.
No. 45 – WR Justyn Ross, Central (Phenix City, Ala.)Another big receiver, the 6-4, 201-pound Ross has 22 offers. Look for either Clemson or Alabama to sign him.

No. 46 – QB Tanner McKee, Centennial (Corona, Calif.)Whoever gets the 6-6, 220-pound four-star quarterback will need to wait a couple years. McKee is planning to take a mission for that long. One-hundred percent of the experts believe Stanford is his destination.
No. 53 – OT William Barnes, Apopka (Fla.)The 6-4, 325-pounder has 27 offers, but he looks destined for the Tar Heels of North Carolina.
