After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, the Sacramento Dragons brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They took their matchup at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 63-24 win over Del Campo. The win was just what Sacramento needed coming off of a 59-19 loss in their prior matchup.
La ne Dunn was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 21 rebounds. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Sacramento's points. Ne'veah Curtis was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals.
Sacramento's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Del Campo, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Sacramento will be playing in front of their home fans against Rio Americano at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Del Campo, they will head out on the road to square off against Christian Brothers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Christian Brothers will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
