The Coalinga Horned Toads have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 54-21 victory over Wonderful College Prep Academy at home. Winning may never get old, but Coalinga sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coalinga to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addie Love, who scored eight points. Love has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Breeze Aispuro, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Coalinga's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-6.
Coalinga will take on Mt. Whitney in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. Wonderful College Prep Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Alpaugh at 5:15 p.m. on December 13th. Alpaugh is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
