After losing to Sibley East the last time they met, Maple River decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Maple River put a hurting on Sibley East to the tune of 46-6.
The victory bumped Maple River's record up to 3-0. Sibley East are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Maple River take on Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial at 7:00 PM. As for Sibley East, they will face off against Le Sueur-Henderson. Sibley East come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
