The Covenant Christian Academy Rams will take on the Unity Christian Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Covenant Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.

While Covenant Christian Academy's victory against North Georgia HomeSchool wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Covenant Christian Academy had just enough and edged out North Georgia HomeSchool 6-5. The six-run effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Grayson Evans was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Unity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Praise Academy, falling 9-1.

Unity Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Darnell, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Darnell hit this season.

Covenant Christian Academy pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Unity Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Covenant Christian Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Unity Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.9 strikeouts.
