Banning is 8-2 against Desert Mirage since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Broncos will venture away from home to face off against the RAMS at 3:30 p.m. Banning will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Banning is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Cathedral City last Thursday as they made off with a 13-3 victory.
Trevor Eisman made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Banning is 5-1 when Eisman allows two or fewer earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Eisman was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jayce Bartley, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Alexander Silva also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, Desert Mirage posted their closest win since March 12, 2025 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over Yucca Valley. The win made it back-to-back victories for the RAMS.
Saul Medrano was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Edilverto Biarco, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
The win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 7-4. As for Desert Mirage, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Banning has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Desert Mirage struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Banning got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Desert Mirage by a conclusive 17-3 score. Do the Broncos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the RAMS turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
