Hercules and Alhambra are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2014, but not for long. The Hercules Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Alhambra Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hercules comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-15, which was the final score in Hercules' tilt against Vallejo on Thursday. Hercules was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-11.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Alhambra's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northgate. Alhambra has struggled against Northgate recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Hercules' defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Alhambra, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
Hercules might still be hurting after the 64-44 defeat they got from Alhambra in their previous meeting back in December of 2021. Can Hercules avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
