Crossland is on a ten-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), La Plata a four-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Crossland Cavaliers will be home for the holidays to greet the La Plata Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Crossland was beaten by Friendly 61-25. Crossland was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-3.
Meanwhile, La Plata didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Calvert on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 54-48 win. The victory was just what La Plata needed coming off of a 74-47 defeat in their prior matchup.
McKinley Harrold was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 18 points. Cameron Harrold was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Crossland's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for La Plata, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
