Reseda has gone a perfect 4-0 against East Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 2:30 p.m. Reseda is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Reseda is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Maywood CES just ended the team's eight-game winning streak last Saturday. They fell 4-1 to the Wolfpack. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Regents couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, East Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on April 4th as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-3 to Sherman Oaks CES.

East Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Arreola, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

East Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Reseda, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Reseda has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like East Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Everything went Reseda's way against East Valley in their previous meeting back in March, as Reseda made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Regents since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
