Kofa's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Somerton with a sharp 11-0 victory. With that win, the Kings brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Noah Heil looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Ivan Bonillas was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Conor Ramirez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI.

On the hitting side, Yale Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Zayden Peltz, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Kofa's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Chandler, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Kofa hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336.
