Kofa's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Somerton with a sharp 11-0 victory. With that win, the Kings brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Noah Heil looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Ivan Bonillas was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Conor Ramirez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI.
Kofa kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in six consecutive games.

Chandler also got a good showing from Zhaid Diaz, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the first time Diaz hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in April of 2025.
On the hitting side, Yale Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Zayden Peltz, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Kofa's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Chandler, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Kofa hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336. However, it's not like Chandler struggles in that department as they've averaged .329. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
