Hanover Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sienna Antkiewicz, who scored 13 points. Bridget Noel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Hanover Central's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Lake Station Edison, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
