The San Pedro Pirates's 24-9 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 55-37 bruising from Peninsula on Thursday. San Pedro has struggled against Peninsula recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why San Pedro lost, one person who can't be blamed is Shalia Coleman . Despite the final result, she scored 15 points. The contest was Coleman 's third in a row with at least ten points. Noelani Raigains was another key contributor, scoring six points.
San Pedro's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Peninsula, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.
