Jurupa Hills had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. Everything went their way against Central as they made off with a 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Jurupa Hills, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Hunter Prall looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Alejandro Preciado was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Calderon, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Jurupa Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .407 or higher in five consecutive matches.

Jurupa Hills pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jurupa Hills will welcome Eisenhower at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holtville at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
