Chadwick has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Flintridge Prep Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Chadwick will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 944th, while Flintridge Prep is ranked 41st).
Last Thursday, Chadwick came up short against Mayfield and fell 34-27.
Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep had already won 17 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points), and they went ahead and made it 18 on Friday. They put the hurt on Rio Hondo Prep with a sharp 61-35 win. Flintridge Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.
Chadwick bumped their record down to 3-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Flintridge Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 20-1.
Chadwick was dealt a bruising 62-26 defeat at the hands of Flintridge Prep in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Chadwick was down 31-6.
