Mingo Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 27-8 win over the Man Hillbillies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Miners also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

It was another big night for Jamere Knuckles, who threw for 222 yards and two TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground.

Mingo Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aidan Burke and Keziah Joplin. Burke got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Mingo Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Man, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Mingo Central has already played their next game, a 58-7 win against Wyoming East on the 26th. As for Man, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-0 victory against Greenbrier West on the 26th.
