The St. Lucy's Regents's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Etiwanda, falling 86-30. St. Lucy's was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-14.
St. Lucy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brooke Baur, who scored seven points.
St. Lucy's has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for Etiwanda, they pushed their record up to 24-3 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
St. Lucy's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Etiwanda has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Coyotes at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Buena Park is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
