Basketball Recap: Adi Lerner Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mid-Peninsula

While Kehillah didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Mid-Peninsula Dragons 42-16 on Monday. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Kehillah's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adi Lerner led the charge by putting up eight points and 13 rebounds. Lerner is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Noga Kohavi was another key player, posting 15 points and five rebounds.

Kehillah's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Mid-Peninsula, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kehillah will venture away from home to take on Mountain View Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Mid-Peninsula, they will face off against Pacific Bay Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
