Valley Christian extended their winning streak  to three  on Friday, bumping their season record up to 16-4-1 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Washington Huskies  a   5-0 shutout. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.
 Rohan Kasanagottu looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time he's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Hunter Fujimoto, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and one  run. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jordan Ortiz, who  went 1-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
As for Washington, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. Considering the last time they couldn't score was  back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

The Warriors are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Washington, they will venture away from home to  take on Newark Memorial  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.8  runs per game this season.
