For the first time this season, Franklin will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will square off against the Stagg Delta Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin will be strutting in after a win while Stagg will be coming in after a loss.
While Franklin's victory against Summerville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yellowjackets skirted past the Bears 7-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Jorge Prado was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Prado was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Sergio Campuzano was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025.
Stagg might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-3 to Cordova, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Delta Kings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Stagg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shanniel Brookins, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Franklin's record now sits at 3-6. As for Stagg, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Franklin has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Stagg struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Franklin got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March of 2025 against Stagg by a conclusive 12-4 score. Do the Yellowjackets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Delta Kings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
