Grossmont is 6-0 against Granite Hills since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Grossmont Foothillers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Granite Hills Eagles at 5:00  p.m. Grossmont is looking to tack on another W to their ten-game streak on the road.
 Grossmont can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Friday. They breezed by Monte Vista at home  to the tune of  65-33. Given Grossmont's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 186th, while Monte Vista is ranked 745th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Grossmont found their leader in underclassman  Jaliyah Fleming, who  scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was  Kieren Hayden, who  scored 14 points along with three  steals.
 Granite Hills suffered their closest  loss yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Helix by a score of  46-43. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Granite Hills in their matchups with Helix: they've now lost eight in a row.
 Grossmont's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Granite Hills, they have  fallen quite a ways from their 26-7 record last season and are now  at 5-8.
 Everything came up roses for Grossmont against Granite Hills when the teams last played  back in May of 2021 as the  squad secured a  62-11 win. Does  Grossmont have another victory up their sleeve, or will Granite Hills turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
