 Meanwhile, Branham came up short against Leland on Thursday and fell  9-6.
 Branham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Deegan Waldorph, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Willow Glen's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 9-7. As for Branham, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
 Willow Glen came up short against Branham when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, falling  4-0. Thankfully for Willow Glen,  Evan Williams (who   didn't allow a single  earned run over seven innings pitched) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
