The El Dorado Cougars waltzed into their contest Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Nevada Union 55-41. This was payback for El Dorado, who suffered a 49-46 loss the last time these two teams met.
Alana Schneider continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. The matchup was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bianca Bunch, who scored ten points along with four steals.
El Dorado has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Nevada Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado will take on Bella Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nevada Union will be home for the holidays to greet Cosumnes Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cosumnes Oaks is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
