The Los Altos Eagles's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-36 victory over Piedmont Hills. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but Los Altos was the (much) better team in the second half.
Los Altos found their leader in underclassman Ella McFarlane, who scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which McFarlane has scored at least 25% of Los Altos' points. Another player making a difference was Natalie Holm, who scored 8 points along with 12 rebounds and 4 steals.
Los Altos' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Piedmont Hills, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Altos' road trip will continue as they head out to face Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Piedmont Hills, they will square off against Sequoia at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
