Bernstein put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 33-28 W against the University Wildcats. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Despite the loss, University saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Noa Siegel posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Natalie Castellanos, who had eight points.

Bernstein's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for University, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bernstein will square off against Mendez at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Dragons their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for University, they will take on Crossroads at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
