The Hollister Haybalers lost to the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Hollister had just enough and edged Rancho San Juan out 2-1.
Hollister's win bumped their record up to 8-6-3. As for Rancho San Juan, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-5-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hollister will take on Alisal at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Alisal's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Rancho San Juan, they will head out on the road to square off against Salinas at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Salinas will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Rancho San Juan surely won't give up without a fight.
