Chase Hansen has been named the U.S. Air Force National Player of the Week.

Behind a remarkable performance from the senior quarterback, Lone Peak (Highland) High School stopped Bingham's (South Jordan) 31-game win streak against Utah teams with a 45-24 victory on Thursday night in South Jordan.
The Utah-bound quarterback has now completed 106 of 162 passes for 1,632 yards and 22 touchdowns. He's also rushed for 545 yards and six more scores.
According to his MaxPreps.com page, Hansen, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound standout completed 21 of 33 passes for 381 yards and six touchdowns, and rushed 17 times for 105 yards as Lone Peak improved to 7-0.
