Loss or not, Centennial got some senior leadership from Erin Jackson and Aurbrianna Flowers. Jackson dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 20 rebounds, and ten blocks, while Flowers went 8 of 13 en route to 21 points along with six boards and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Flowers has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Patience Taylor, who posted three points and ten boards.
Even though they lost, Centennial smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 18 offensive boards in six consecutive contests.
Telayia Fuller was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds for Lawndale.
