The Union Local Jets will head out on the road to  face off against  the River View Black Bears  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Union Local will bounce into Tuesday's   matchup after  beating Harrison Central, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Jets never let the Huskies get on the board and left with  a   2-0  win  on Thursday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for Union Local as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.
Meanwhile,  after failing to score in their last  contest, River View made sure to put some  goals up on the board against Edison  on Thursday. They blew past the Wildcats 9-0. Considering River View have won six matches by more than three  goals this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
Their offense was hitting Edison from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.  Cash Guilliams led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.
 Union Local's record now sits at 10-6-1. As for River View, their record is now 8-5-5.
 Union Local suffered a grim  8-0 defeat to River View  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024. Can the Jets avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
