Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chartiers Valley). They blew past the West Allegheny Indians 57-33 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Colts have posted since January 6th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chartiers Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rachel Boehm, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 18 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Iyla Ozbey, who posted five points along with six assists and three steals.

Chartiers Valley's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. As for West Allegheny, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chartiers Valley will take on Montour in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for West Allegheny, they will welcome Aliquippa at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Aliquippa will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something West Allegheny surely won't give up without a fight.
