While it was all tied up 15-15 at halftime, Schuylkill Haven was not quite Marian Catholic's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of Marian Catholic by a score of 35-32. The Hurricanes' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Schuylkill Haven lost, don't look at Mckenna Runkle. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Anna Schaeffer, who earned six points.

Marian Catholic was led to victory by Addison Fritz and Olivia Serfass. Fritz went 5 of 11 on her way to 14 points and three steals, while Serfass put up eight points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Deanna Pugh, who had seven points and three steals.

Schuylkill Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Marian Catholic, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
