The Frazier Commodores can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They took down Carmichaels 46-30. The victory was just what Frazier needed coming off of a 63-26 loss in their prior contest.
Frazier's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Allie Yauch, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five steals. Yauch hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Malana Burton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds.
Frazier's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Carmichaels, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Frazier will square off against Clairton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clairton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Frazier in Pennsylvania (Clairton is ranked 243rd, while Frazier is ranked 583rd). As for Carmichaels, they will head out on the road to face off against Chartiers-Houston at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
