Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Loveland's Fourth in Last Five Outings + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fossil Ridge, Loveland was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Windsor Wizards by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Red Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Loveland was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 17-25, 25-22.

Windsor lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Avery Smiley, who had 21 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hallie Burroughs, who had 19 digs and two aces.

Loveland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Windsor, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Loveland is set to face off against their familiar foe Poudre at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Windsor will square off against rival Fossil Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
