On Wednesday, Crossroads didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Glendale, but they still walked away with a 44-38 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Crossroads.
Crossroads got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jiselle Frerichs out in front who scored 12 points. Frerichs continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Georgia Koff-Gilmore was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Crossroads' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Glendale, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crossroads will take on San Marino at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Marino will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Glendale, they will head out on the road to face off against Burroughs at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Burroughs is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
