There's no place like home for the Berks Catholic Saints, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent on Monday as Berks Catholic made off with a 58-36 win.
Madison Langdon was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Corado, who scored ten points along with three blocks.
Berks Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 121-428.
Berks Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to square off against Carolina Day at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Varsity Opponent is facing Carolina Day at the right time seeing as Carolina Day is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
