Make it seven blowout wins for the Mesrobian Bulldogs this season. They took their game on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 63-27 win over Southwestern Academy. Mesrobian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Southwestern Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Valza Jusufi. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jusufi has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marifer Durand, who scored two points along with seven steals.
Mesrobian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Southwestern Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-9.
