The Red Lion Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Chambersburg Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Red Lion focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Red Lion came up short against Unionville and fell 41-34.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Madi Sechrist, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. Reagan Smith was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Meanwhile, Chambersburg was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 39-33 to Northern York.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 1-1 season records intact.
Everything came up roses for Red Lion against Chambersburg in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 56-9 victory. Does Red Lion have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chambersburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
