Leading Palisades to victory were Carli Chavis and Brooklyn Young. Chavis scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, while Young dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Young has scored at least 25% of Palisades' points. Another player making a difference was Meyah Brown, who scored 8 points along with 13 rebounds.
The win got Palisades back to even at 3-3. As for Berry, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Palisades will head out on the road to face off against Myers Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Mecklenburg presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Berry in North Carolina (South Mecklenburg is ranked 235th, while Berry is ranked 492nd).
