The San Jacinto Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Hart Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Jacinto has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
San Jacinto is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Elsinore 85-18 on Wednesday. San Jacinto has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 20 points or more this season.

San Jacinto got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Luvlee Sadler out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine rebounds. Sadler's evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Miyah Stevenson, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten steals.
Meanwhile, Hart waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-40 W against the Cowboys. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Cowboys are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hart's win came from a few key players San Jacinto will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Morgan Mack, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Emery Eav was another key player, putting up seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Hart smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 12 consecutive contests.
San Jacinto has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Hart, their record now sits at 20-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: San Jacinto has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 44.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Hart struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
San Jacinto came up short against Hart in their previous meeting back in February of 2015, falling 71-66. Can San Jacinto avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
