On Saturday, Roosevelt was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to Shadow Hills.
Victoria Hyatt continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Shadow Hills, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 20 rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Hyatt has scored at least 25% of Shadow Hills' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Analiah Cardona, who scored 15 points.
Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Shadow Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will take on King at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games. As for Shadow Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Xavier Prep at 6:30 p.m. Xavier Prep is looking to tack on another W to their ten-game streak on the road.
