The Valley Christian Academy Lions will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the San Marino Titans at 7:00 p.m. Valley Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
Last Thursday, Valley Christian Academy escaped with a win against the Conquerors by the margin of a single free throw, 40-39.
Valley Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Katelyn Mikkelson, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Walker, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, San Marino ended up a good deal behind the Spartans on Thursday and lost 63-46. While losing is never fun, San Marino can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 569th, while the Spartans are ranked 277th).
Valley Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. As for San Marino, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.
