You might not recognize the power rankings this week after a busy last week rearranged the teams a whole lot. We'll tackle that and more in this week's report.

It was another game, another high-octane performance for Willmar last week (their 3rd in a row). It narrowly escaped with a win as it sidled past Moorhead 35 - 32. Willmar and Moorhead were a much more even match than Willmar's previous opponent, giving the fans a heck of a game. The win also thrust Willmar into the power rankings, where the team now holds the 18th spot.
This Week's Big Showdown
On paper, the match between Lakeville North (1st in the power rankings) and Wayzata (8th) looked as though it might be one of the more compelling ones, but things did not play out that way on the field. Lakeville North had all the answers against Wayzata, winning 42 - 13. At 29 points, that marked Lakeville North's largest margin of victory so far this year.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Edina (17th in the power rankings) and Minnetonka (4th). Both teams are entering with last-week wins under their belts. Only one team will win this week, so we'll find out which team fails to repeat its success.
