Buddy Wilson Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Piketon got the W thanks in part to Buddy Wilson playing the best football he has all season. Wilson rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Wilson is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Westfall on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Wilson saw the Mustangs), he rushed for 260 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry.

Stewart Made His Presence Known in Zane Trace's 48-12 Win
Zane Trace found a leader in Silas Stewart as the team took down Southeastern on Friday. Southeastern had no answer to Stewart as he rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Southeastern had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Stewart it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stewart saw the Panthers), he picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Cody Braden and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Unioto picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cody Braden. Nobody could stop Braden as he made a tackle.
Unioto pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Braden and Unioto will host Southeastern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Peyton Dotson Makes It Two for Zane Trace
The second Zane Trace player making an appearance here is Peyton Dotson, and for good reason. He picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Dotson has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 17.9 receiving yards per game.

Coy Came Up Big in Unioto's 43-0 Victory
Isaac Coy's big game helped extend Unioto's winning streak to seven on Friday. Paint Valley had no answer to Coy as he rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 150 yards and a touchdown. Those 35 rushing yards gave Coy a new career-high.
For the year, Coy has thrown 22 touchdowns while averaging 217.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 38.2 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 112.36 passer rating.
