After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shaw, Hardaway was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Carver Tigers a 15-0 shutout. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by ten runs or more this season.

Gabriel Ruiz looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dario Ladriye, who scored two runs and stole six bases while going 1-for-1. Those six stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Nick Hudson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

The victory snapped Hardaway's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-7 record. As for Carver, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Hardaway will have a chance to go back-to-back against Carver: the pair will be back at it again later today.
