In what's become a running theme this season, Gunderson gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They put the hurt on Overfelt with a sharp 46-22 victory. The victory was just what Gunderson needed coming off of a 58-18 loss in their prior match.
It was another big night for Breanna Bartek, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 16 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.
James Lick bumped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their 27th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Gunderson, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
James Lick came up short against Gunderson in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 35-30. Can James Lick avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
