Trion got themselves on the board against Rome on Wednesday, but Rome never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 15-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Trion's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Rome, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Coming up, Trion will challenge Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rome, they will head out to face off against Walker at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
