Evergreen Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lealah Rowden, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rowden has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryka Aprameyan, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Evergreen Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.67 points. As for Leland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.
Evergreen Valley will head out on the road to face off against Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Christopher is ranked 106th, while Evergreen Valley is ranked 108th). As for Leland, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Branham at 6:30 p.m. Branham is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.
